“Remembrance”

“They say to put on your big girl shoes
But Forget to tell you how
Someone told me it was a nice pair of boots
All you had to do was zip the side and tie the laces
But sometimes my hands cramp and I can’t tie them
So I decided to take off the boots- to feel the Earth beneath me instead
Our mother (🌎) whispered ,
“The strength is within the Remembrance

Your strength is our strength,

We guide you,

As you guide us

In the returning of home””
